Error Code 598

The mechanic said there was a magnetic switch on the clutch actuator that was out of adjustment.

Another several hundred miles and no problems.

Just got this code last night 598 saw it was something to do with Cruise control saw that someone asked if there’s a way to reset it didn’t see an answer so I’m asking is there a way to reset it really don’t want to deal with the players dealerships they suck

What year of Slingshot do you have friend?
 
2019 some guys told me that code has something to do with a micro switch on the clutch.

Just have to find it.

Okay update I have found the micro switch.

Cleaned up the switch ( more like a prox ) and also cleaned up the clutch arm but still have the fault light on.

Any ideas or is there something I have to do to clear the fault?

Sounds like the switch is bad.

Did you disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to clear the code?
